About Företagsakademin3
Företagsakademin3 is a skills development project which is run by Företagsakademin FA AB on behalf of the European Social Fund (ESF). The project is aimed at companies in the county of Stockholm which have up to 9 active members including owners.
The objectives of Företagsakademin3 are:
- 1,000 companies (approx 2,500 individuals) are to participate in Företagsakademin3.
- At least 35% of the 1,000 companies must be run by/owned by a woman.
- At least 5% must be run by/owned by someone with a non-Swedish background.
We endeavour to achieve an equal distribution of the sexes among participants and also to reach out to people with functional impairment. By ensuring that such a large volume of individuals with different backgrounds participate in the project, we want to create lasting changes in attitudes and habitual patterns of behaviour as regards equality, integration and accessibility. The project will take place up to December 2012.
Företagsakademin has 10 years of experience in providing companies with training courses. Our courses are largely based on participant activity and practical exercises. That means that the people participating on the courses are able to use their skills in everyday work at their company. The courses are supplied by leading training companies. 7,800 people have previously taken part in similar projects and courses at Företagsakademin.
Företagsakademin has run similar projects before:
- The Solo project between 2001 and 2004 for sole-trader companies.
- Företagsakademin1 for up to 4 employees between 2004 and 2007.
- Företagsakademin2 for up to 9 employees between 2009 and 2011.
These projects have had very successful results. Among the results shown by an independent market research survey which was carried out after Företagsakademin1, was that 86% of people thought the training courses were relevant or very relevant to the participant's everyday work. The market research survey is available on request from Företagsakademin.
